love across the sea

hope you enjoy this all film wedding with it’s happy lightleaks & grain! :)

their first meet :)

oh-my-good-glorious-mother-of-wonder! we had the most awesome opportunity to photograph this wedding in the most breathtaking place, salt lake city, utah. we shot n’tima & steven’s heartfelt wedding with old film cameras as well as captured their day on video. this duo is very much loved & know gobs of talented artists, there were not only quite a few family documenters but alsothe greens shot digital stills of the day. we had such a charming time with visiting guests attending from all over the world.

n’tima was quite the diy bride, oh my gosh, her amazingly lovely dress was from thrift store which her grandma made alterations to. swoon. she dyed her own shoes on the hotel stove-top the night before the wedding steven was sporting his favorite black toms & aztec print tie. her grandpa served as the master of the ceremonies & her grandma as her beautiful matron of honor. :)
n’tima & steven have so much love for one another. just such a humble, pure & genuine relationship that survived across the sea. they just give off those warm vibes that make your heart sing & dance! these two have the most amazing love story & wrote in journals to each other with 6,229 miles between them for 642 days & 17 hours separating them there love survived, & we are so super happy for them that they are finally man & wife! yay!!!! :) :)

I have never met these people in my life – have no idea who they are, but I feel like I know them now. This is love in its purest and truest form. I can only hope that someday I have this, but in the meantime, I’m just overjoyed that someone else does – even if it is a stranger.
