you must remember jon & amanda from their really rad joshua tree engagement session, well yes, of course you do, cause they are some of the most coolest people on the planet & omg did they really bring the awesome for their victorian oldwest styled desert themed wedding in panamint springs!
we were swooning over every little detail that we laid our eyes on & they blew our minds with the attire too!
amanda’s custom made dress made us all giddy & happy inside, & then their cats, omg their cats, they stole our hearts! we didn’t even think things could get better than amanda’s lovely details, then jon started to get ready, & he pulled out a freaking steampunky monocle & placed it over his eye along with his childlike smiles we couldn’t believe our eyes & we all just started busting out laughing with pure excitement & happiness! he wasn’t kidding when he told his mother-in-law to be “i’m only getting married once & i’m going to do it right!” so just when there was no way things could get any better,,,or as we thought, a rainbow peeked out to say hello & we saw amanda in her super rad corset style tiered dress & holy crap her boots, her boots were out of this world to die for!
so many of their loving friends & family helped to make their vision come together & the day go off with out a hitch, oh my goodness & there were loads of diy & etsy filled goodies as well as help from amanda’s crafty mom who made the flower girls dresses & headbands, & also she made their cute little wedding cake topped with succulents & marzipan mushrooms!!! jon made all of the table card holders from desert wood that amanda collected while hiking. jon’s mom made the ringbearer’s vests & the pennant flags, & no better way to finish off the night with a bang than a firework show put on by jon’s brother aaron & his dad tim!
we documented this lovely day with various film cameras, we hope you enjoy the happy light leaks & grain as much as we do! overall this wedding was filled with so many good times & wonderful people, we feel unbelievably blessed to have been a part of such a beautiful day! we really hope you enjoy a little glimpse of jon & amanda’s glorious wedding! :)
