this was such a fun day at the fair with megan & tom! these two are pretty much as sweet as they come! & holy smokes are they good looking! we had so many great laughs with them & shooting with them felt so effortless. we’re so excited for their wedding! :)

where do i even start,,,WOW WOW WOW, this was one of the most amazing days of our lives! we traveled to Washington DC to do this very chic & classic shoot on the amazing historic Presidential Yacht U.S.S. Sequoia for angelberry organics! we had zero sleep, & were basically running off of excitement & crazy adrenaline pumping through our excited little selves & lots of coffee as well.
also it was hurricane season, & rain was in the forecast for this day, but we were so lucky that it ended up being sunny & wonderful!
oh man how we were in awe of the history of this yacht & all of the original details were blowing our teeny tiny minds up! as we sipped on our dark & stormy drinks we took a cruise on this yacht & were in such great company as we took a few pictures & seriously put our cameras down to take it all in with our eyes. sometimes things are just so great, that i have found myself doing that, it’s nice to see those wonderful moments without looking through a lens sometimes. we will have those unbelievable moments from that day in our hearts forever.
& as far as the shoot went we wanted to give the images that classic film feel, so what way to better do that than to shoot with old film cameras & we have no regrets!! we LOVE the happy light leaks, soft focus & realness about the images.
getting kissed by the sunshine as were shooting the bathing suit set really warmed our souls, as we started clicking the shutter, it really took us back to the early 60′s & it felt as if we were photographing marilyn monroe. it was the most amazing feeling i have ever felt behind my camera. this is probably my most favorite shoot to date & it is a day that will always be one of the greatest days of my life. we are so thankful & have so much gratitude for this opportunity, i want to thank christine penny with my whole being for not only asking us to be a part of this inspiring shoot but also for being an incredible model, & most of all for also making this day a 10. we hope you enjoy seeing a little bit of goodness from this magical day! :)

the lovely christine with angelberry organics brought us back to the east coast to capture the inspiration for the fall & winter line, talk about a little bit of season excitement! whoa we have been swooning over these sessions & have been on beauty overload for days now!!!

linda keys is one of the most fun-loving, free-spirited, super-coolest-chicks we have ever met!!
conor mckiernan is such a funny guy with an amazingly caring spirit & oh how he does the best american accent we have ever heard in our lives!!

this rad wedding took place in derry, ireland. they were married in the same breathtaking cathedral that linda’s parents & grandparents were also married in. it was a beautiful day in ireland in which the sun came out & omg everything about this day was absolutely perfect!!! we feel so blessed to have had this extremely amazing opportunity to travel all the way to ireland to document their wedding day. our gratitude runs deep as they treated us like family as we stayed in their home until the wedding & we had such a fun time getting to know everyone & enjoying tea & coffee at about every home we entered!! wow how the irish are hospitable! :) oh yeah & also trying real guinness from the irish pub was such a treat!
oh man how do we love lindas shoes, swoooon & the vw love was just making our hearts go pitter-patter! we love some of the same bands & music as they do. so we were dying over the records on the tables at the reception, after seeing the tables our hearts began to sing with joy! oh oh oh & i cannot forget their super incredibly talented band ever! the band was great & they need to come to the states, everyone would love them so much here! the dance floor was raging with fun & the props that they passed out to everyone was really just the icing on the cake for us! oh yeah, the cake, it was so cute & magical with even a wee vw topper! gosh just too much good stuff to even mention!
these two lovers really have a zest for life & go after what they want!! we know they will have a long & successful, happy life together!

we shot this set of sammy one of the last weeks of summer, & omg did we have a good time. sammy is one of the most beautiful girls we have ever photographed, she is canadian, i think that says it all. haha. it was this day that i found my zen again while laying in a hammock by the pool, this was such a wonderful, wonderful day spent with such beautiful friends, oh how do i love summer, but there is also something so lovely about fall that i look forward to every year! along with the weather, i think it is the fact that i can wear my boots & scarves again! yay!
